First Anniversary Trip | Personal

Eden and I have been married for one year! It's been fun, challenging, and exciting - no doubt!

The Lord has truly blessed us (abundantly)! We are by no means a perfect couple. Yes, we argue; no, we don't agree on everything, but we have grace. I can say confidently that we have learned how to forgive (quicker and better) over the last year (Luke 7:47).

This past weekend, we traveled up to Helen, GA and stayed in an Airbnb right inside of town. We ate pizza, breakfast food, and burgers. One restaurant we especially enjoyed was Bigg Daddy's. (We went there twice!) Good food, for sure!

Sunday, we went on a hike to Duke Creek Falls. It rained a good bit on Saturday, so the trail was pretty soaked. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the damp, foggy hike.

Eden and I also played miniature golf together twice (once in a light drizzle). Mr. Jim was very friendly at Bavarian Mountain Mini Golf.

Monday, we traveled back home. We stopped in Athens, GA and saw my cousin Ben at his job. He works at 1000 Faces Coffee. He roasts all of their coffee beans. I must say, he does a pretty good job! You can see a few pictures I took there, below.

We had a great weekend together!

I love you, Eden! Here's to many more years together!
