Hey. My name is Jonathan.

I live in Forsyth with my wife and children.

I began taking pictures many years ago with a small camera my dad gave me for Christmas. My life, photo philosophy, and time commitments have continually changed since receiving that first camera.

I am in awe of the power of images. They only increase in value as time progresses. I’ve seen this fact personally — with both joyful laughter and deep grief.

I consider myself a part-time photographer now due to other high priority time commitments. However, I still genuinely enjoy being able to provide families, business, and individuals with personalized images. I still love transforming a moment in time into a work of art. It makes me happy.

I most enjoy glorifying Christ Jesus and being a husband and father. Also, I enjoy in no particular order: reading (C.S. Lewis and Francis Shaeffer are among my favorites), journaling, learning, hiking, BJJ, coffee, meeting new people. 

I've always used Canon cameras, but also have a small Fuji I love to use to stretch my skills. 

My preferred way to take photos is outside using natural light.
